Porsche 914 & 914/6 Paint Colors & Codes

Porsche^® 914 and  Porsche 914/6 automobiles came in a variety of "fashionable" colors (remember we are talking about the early-mid 1970s). The buttons on the left link to pages containing color samples and paint codes specific to the model and year indicated (blue buttons for four-cylinder and green buttons for six-cylinder). Note that the color sample icons are approximations based on factory paint cards. Many of the 914 color icons are linked to pages with pictures of Porsche 914s in that color. Obviously gaps remain, so we appreciate any and all additional submissions. You may notice that 1973 & 1974 Porsche 914 model years had the exact same color selection, but the name of paint code L13M was changed from "Saturn Yellow" to "Chrome Yellow." Likewise, in 1975, paint code L13K changed from "Sunflower Yellow" to "Summer Yellow," and code L64K had its name changed from "Zambezi Green" to "Forest Green." Apparently the marketing folks had some extra time on their hands.
