 1975 - 1976 Porsche 914 2.0 Liter Acceleration Chart

Most 1975 - 1976 Porsche® 914 vehicles came equipped with a 2.0L "GC" engine and the five-speed manual transmission. The "GC" engine incorporates air-injection, a catalytic converter and other emission control devices not found in the earlier (1973 - 1974) "GA" 2.0 liter engine. The addition of this environment-protecting equipment reduced the "GC" code engine performance by seven horsepower (DIN @ 4900 RPM) and 9 ft-lbs of torque @ 3500 RPM (6 ft-lbs of torque @ 4000 RPM) from the earlier "GA" code 2.0L engine, resulting in diminished acceleration and top speed.

The 1975 - 1976 Porsche 914 2.0L vehicles reach 60 MPH in 11.2 seconds.

They cover a quarter-mile in about 18.5 seconds while reaching a speed of 78 MPH.

The one kilometer mark is reached in 33.7 seconds while achieving a speed of 98 MPH.

The top speed of Porsche 914 2.0L "GC" engine vehicles is 112 MPH.
