Standard production Porsche 914 and Porsche 914/6 vehicles were equipped with one exterior side view mirror, one interior rear view mirror, and one interior vanity mirror on the passenger's sun visor (in late 1971-1976 model year vehicles; 1970 and early 1971 model year vehicles did not have a visor vanity mirror). There was (thankfully) no factory option for a driver's vanity mirror.
Both
the rear view mirror and the side mirror(s) underwent some subtle
changes during
the 1972 Porsche 914 model year. The main questions regarding mirrors
